Caterpillar Class Year 1 and 2

Welcome to Caterpillar Class!

Term 3 and 4

 During the next two terms we will be exploring the  season "Winter".

Term 3 is all about exploring the world around us. We will first look at the our local area and the weather in winter before exploring further afield. We will be learning about arctic animals  and the difference between the artic and antarctica parts of our world.

Our English focus will be  following the story of a lost penguin in the book "Lost and Found" by Oliver Jeffers.

Our current School Value  is Resilience

 We will be exploring how different Bible stories link to this theme and will continue to link our learning to our “10 things to do before you leave Fletching” points.

  Year 1 and 2 will be continuing their phonic journey and preparing for their phonic screening  by learning to decode some fun "alien" words!
