Welcome to Ladybird Class!
Terms 5 and 6 : Spring and Summer
Term 5 is all about exploring what happens in Spring time. We will look at the northern and southern hemispheres exploring where it is currently spring and what this season looks like in different parts of the world . We will be looking at what happens at this time of year before looking at different animals and their lifecycles. We will have our very own tadpoles and caterpillars to care for.
Term 6 will continue with the animal theme but we will be hatching our very own chicks! Eek how exciting! We will also be having a school trip to the local wetlands to help embed this topic and explore different animal habitats and how weather changes can affect animals homes.

Our next two terms values are "loving" and " wonderful"
We will be exploring how different Bible stories link to this theme and will continue to link our learning to our “10 things to do before you leave Fletching
Phonics
The Ladybirds will be revisiting and developing their learnt Phonics this term and will be continuing with their guided "Reading Practice" sessions developing their reading skills and love of books.
